What You’re Paying For…
…With a designer/creative director is the thousands of micro-decisions that go into any successful advertising and marketing campaign. For example, these include deciding how far apart letters should be spaced in a line of type — and what exception is to be made when the small letter “t” precedes an “i”? Or whether a particular color will reproduce equally well on a printing press, as embroidery, and in a web browser? These are small details to be sure… and flubbing one or two probably won’t matter. But in aggregate, getting the small details right says a lot about your company to your customers. You don’t get too many “second chances.”
So yes, I have the hands-on experience, earned from the school of hard knocks, to make the proper micro-decisions once, twice, and a thousand times over.
Of course being detail-orientated is all for naught if the macro-decisions aren’t correct. And this is where I shine… I’m a pragmatic thinker and planner who understands the importance of taking the long view. I know how to wrangle a diverse array of projects into a consistent campaign, identity, and ultimately, a brand.
Being a one-man shop, I am the right size and solution for entrepreneurial small-businesses and more mature medium-sized businesses. I’m not a desktop publisher stumbling through — or an off-shore low-baller working from canned templates — nor am I a bloated, lumbering old-school ad agency (or yet another prissy design firm.)
I’m Frank. In both name and in attitude.
